I dined out recently at Desaki for an acquaintance birthday dinner . Rather large, active, and packed restaurant . We enjoyed the customer service but we were impressed with our two chefs . Their presentation was nice and favorable . Very entertaining. The food served healthy large portions and was able to eat on my plate for two days . I had one cocktail and it was strong. I took my time . We dined around 7:30pm and the DJ wanted us to stay and be entertained on the dance floor . We would stayed after dinner but the concern was having young children on the dance floor after 9:00pm . A suggesting would be 18 or 21 and over after 8:30pm. We can't have adult fun on the dance floor with toddler children
Wonderful time brought my wife here to celebrate her bday amazing staff and food. We are staying at the Swiftwater hotel which is amazing also
Food was great, hibachi chef entertained the kids and there was a balloon artist and face painter there for kids on a Saturday night. Deejay and disco ball dance floor too! Fun birthday celebration for our son!
First of all, the green beans were very nice very salty and cooked to perfection. I don't know if everybody gets them, but I think so when you start. I got the strawberry lemonade. It was very good not too sweet and not too sour so I approve next we had the spicy tuna rolls these were very nice delicious taste and texture. I really enjoyed them with a beautiful clash of soy sauce and wasabi. Sadly, I forgot to take a photo of these, but I recommend them they were great and lastly, the hibachi came out. I got the lobster. It was really delicious and I enjoyed every bite and savor it. It was very filling so expect to have a box if you have two items ordered anyway I recommend this place Tremendous service and delicious atmosphere.
Desaki accommodated our party of 10 right on time and provided exceptional service throughout our lunch. Our waitress was attentive, patient, and friendly, ensuring we felt well taken care of. Chefs Eko and Vino were absolutely amazing--hilarious, engaging, and meticulous in making sure we received the correct dishes. The generous portions were a delight, and we were thrilled to leave with leftovers!
Desaki is very conveniently located next to the SwiftWater hotel in the Pocons. The service was absolutely excellent. The Hibachi presentation was lots of fun and crated the entire experience. Both chefs were top notch put on a good show. The food was definitely tasty but on the expensive end, however the portions are large and you will not leave hungry. Besides hibachi they also have a regular menu with a nice range of items. The interior is large and open with a casual but intimate vibe.
Desaki is always my go-to when at the Poconos! Prices are very expensive but you do get a full plate. The chefs are great and entertaining. There is an automatic 20% tip on all bills. Love how big the area is and that there is a big back room and a dance floor. Anytime I've ever gone it's usually full of kids, but makes for more of a family friendly restaurant. My last experience, the owner was monitoring how much yum yum sauce our waitress was allowed to give us, and made a comment to her to give us less. I had asked for more but it seemed like our waitress was afraid of the repercussion which made me even feel bad for asking. She was amazing. Good is always great, will definitely be back
